They started out backing John Lee Hooker on his tours of the United Kingdom in the early sixties, went on to have a dozen or so albums before breaking up in the mid-70s. This track,
Shake It, is a floor stomper of an R&B number and was one of the band's first singles being released in 1964. It later was featured on the first volume of the most excellent
English Freakbeat series.
